The brown canyon ranch loop

Welcome to Brown Canyon Ranch. This historic ranch and its hike up Brown Canyon through the foothills of the Huachuca Mountains and over the ridge and down into Ramsey Canyon is a pleasure to hike every day of the year. Despite its proximity to a bustling community, this is an area of tranquility in which one can commune with and marvel at the beauty of nature every hour or every day. The trail is approximately 5.4 miles in length with an elevation gain of 740 feet. The tour includes transportation to and from the trailhead. The total expected time is 4.5 hours.  Each hike will be outfitted with a day pack, 2 liters of water and trail snacks along with a hiking pole. Use your own judgment when it comes to clothes, but good hiking shoes / boots are recommended.  The trail is well maintained by the forest service but there are a few places with loose rock.  Tour participants will meet at the Grassy Park in old town Bisbee where they will be transported to and from the trailhead.
