This walking tour follows what were once the mule paths of Bisbee. These mule paths later became the 9 flights of steps of the Bisbee 1000 Stair Climb, a world-famous event that attracts athletes from all over.  The course is 4.6 miles and the race time to beat is presently 28 minutes and 26 seconds. This tour is a lot more leisurely, Walking the Bisbee 1000 for pleasure is the best way to get to know Bisbee and our tour guides will regale you with plenty of stories. As you can see from the brief sampling above, Bisbee is a photographer's paradise. This hike starts at the Grassy Park in front of the Bisbee Mining and Historical Museum, 5 Copper Queen Plaza at 7:30 a.m. Please arrive 10 - 15 minutes early. The length of the hike is approximately 2.5 hours.
